Access enables you to prepare hospital documents exactly the way you want, and distribute them to any point in your hospital for printing, faxing, e-mailing and archive storage. The Patient Flow System provides you the ability to automatically determine the most appropriate delivery format for each of your documents based on patient data intelligence.

The Patient Flow server merges raw patient data as entered into the existing HIS application and pre-designed customer forms to produce an electronic document that can be distributed to any PostScript printer. The patient face sheet and all the necessary information can then be directly transmitted automatically from registration to the nurses' station, medical records and even the physician without any user interruption.

E-Forms Repository is a front-end, print-on-demand and forms management module for the Access Patient Flow System. With e-Forms Repository, pre-printed forms required to support patient services in hospital are replaced with on-demand electronic versions. E-Forms Repository maintains a comprehensive archive of all documents required for functions such as patient administration, discharge, billing, pharmacy orders and nursing.

Access is designed as a modular solution that can be expanded as the Hospital's electronic information system expands. Applications include:

E-Signature: E-Signature software captures not only the patient signature digitally into an encrypted PDF but also the patient specific handwriting biometrics and encrypts these into the document for legally binding proof of an authentic signature.

E-mail Portal: Provides an electronic bridge from the Patient Flow System to your e-mail program. The PFS form is passed as an attachment.

Fax Portal: Uses an electronic bridge from the Patient Flow System to your faxing program that constructs a fax coversheet and sends the form(s) as an attachment.

Image Portal: Provides an electronic bridge from the Patient Flow System directly into your document imaging system, auto-indexing the forms into the patient folder.

Label Printing Module: Allows for using thermal label printers for printing patient labels and wristbands supporting barcode symbology commonly used in the healthcare industry.

In addition to the e-forms and patient information modules, Access also offers business management applications that include; Check Printing, Business Financial Set and their Evolution Online Forms.
